SON OF SARDAAR Scores In Limited Territories

"Son Of Sardaar" collected very good numbers yesterday after average day one. Film has got appreciation from its target audience and will sail through over the weekend in those territories.

Biggest problem of the film is the high budget and promotional cost of such a high decibel promotion. Film collected 10.50 cr nett on Tuesday followed by even stronger Wednesday at 15 cr nett. Film is dominating in East Punjab and Rajasthan and is completely turned down in south and West Bengal. Mumbai is also affected due to limited release.

Film is struggling in overseas too as JTHJ opened yesterday to some mammoth numbers and that puts film in great danger in terms of recovering the budget. 140 cr nett worldwide collections give it a chance to break even otherwise this ambitious venture of Devgn will remain in red.

Film has to start performing in multiplexes and metros in order to come out as winner and today's numbers will decide that for sure. As per early trend, film is doing good business in same areas though looks to drop in metros and multiplexes.
