GUNDAY Drops Big On Saturday, Sunday Holds The Key''Gunday'' was huge on day one and surprised few in trade. Film is heading for good weekend no matter what happens over the weekend. Though big drop on Saturday has balanced the things a bit.
Film was again superb especially in single screens and mass dominated centers i.e. CI, CP and UP yesterday. But film dropped considerably on Saturday due to absence of any Valentine factor and genre restriction which does not attract family audience.
In overseas too film did fab business and managed 6 cr plus on day one. Film has collected 12 cr plus in 2 days approximate.
Film collected 16.12 cr nett on day one which is only 1 cr nett less than ''Jai Ho'' with 1100 screens less. Film collected further 12.63 cr nett on day two taking 2 day total to 28.75 cr nett. Today film has started with a bang and should collect close to 15 cr nett but matching Friday''s numbers looks difficult.
Film is heading for 43 cr nett weekend which is great but weekdays will hold the key as far as lifetime total is concerned.
