LIFE OF PI Collecting Good Number At Indian Box Office
"Life Of Pi" released on Thursday with paid previews and film exceeded everyone's expectations at box office. Film defeated films like "Twilight Breaking Dawns Part 2", "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" and "Son Of Sardaar" at Indian box office.
Film collected 3.50 cr nett, 4.55 cr nett and 5.60 cr nett on Friday, Saturday and Sunday including preview shows. Film collected 13.65 cr nett over the weekend and now film is headed for good week one with stable figures on weekdays.
Film dropped on Monday due to low attendance in multiplexes and filmexpected to collect 1.75 cr nett on Monday. Film has collected 15.40 cr nett in 4 days and now film should collect 20 cr nett in week one. Film is a surprise success at box office especially being of a genre which generally don't do well in India.
