JAI HO Starts Well On Monday After Fairly Good SundaySalman Khan starrer ''Jai Ho'' released in middle of humongous expectations but even if one takes into account the non holiday factor or ticket prices, film remained similar to what Salman films did 2-3 years back at box office.
Film was good on day one overall but never improved in urban centers and multiplexes which hurt the film badly. Film had almost similar story on day two and shockingly enough film dropped in single screens too in places like Kanpur, Indore, Jaipur and Pune.
Film was expected to score big on Sunday as it was holiday after two rather not so big day at box office. But film was very good nit outstanding though still film managed to score 26 cr nett plus which saved the day for the film. Film had 60 cr nett weekend which is just good.
Film has started well on Monday morning but this good has to get better by end of the day in order to make some impact. Film has occupancy of 25% in morning show in multiplexes and single screen should open around 40% minimum. Film needs 12-13 cr nett or minimum 10 cr nett in order to stay afloat. Film should be looking at 85-90 cr nett week one.
