BOMBAY TALKIES Heading For Strictly Average Week One
"Bombay Talkies" started on expected lines and despite decent jumps on Saturday and Sunday, film managed only 5 cr nett over the weekend.
Film collected 0.75 cr on Tuesday taking film''s 5 day total to 6.50 cr nett plus. Film is set to finish at 7.50 cr nett after week one and thus making it strictly an average week one. There is feeling in trade that a better release and slightly better promotion would had resulted in 20-25% better numbers.
