YAARIYAN Heading For Good Week One

''Yaariyan'' was not expected to score at box office but we predicted its weekend business to be around 15 cr nett weekend and that is what happened. Film actually surpassed that too and managed healthy total beating its fancier rival ''Dedh Ishqiya'' at box office.

''Yaariyan'' collected 18 cr nett over the weekend and weekdays were crucial for the film. Film managed to remain not so stable on Monday. Film dropped by 60% and collected 2.65 cr nett. Due to festival, film further added 2.65 cr nett on Tuesday and 2.15 cr nett on Wednesday taking 6 day total to 25 cr nett plus.

Film is looking to collect 27-28 cr nett in 1st week and that is a huge result for such a small film. Film had COP of 9 cr and P & A around 10 cr which means total budget of 19 cr. Film has recovered 7-9 cr from satellite and other revenues and it seems that it will do business of 30 cr minimum from here lifetime and that takes film to the hit zone for sure with share of 15 cr approx. It seems that we have first hit of 2014!
