DEDH ISHQIYA Heading For Below Average Week One

''Dedh Ishqiya'' was sequel of successful film and that too with good star cast. But skewed content cost it dearly and after not so great start on Friday, film failed to grow big which was needed on Saturday though film jumped big on Sunday followed by steady weekdays.

Film was poor in central India and west but even north where film is based, was not very good. Film struggled over the weekend but appreciation did the trick and film held the grounds better than ''Yaariyan'' on weekdays with a drop of just 20%.

Film has collected 2.25 cr nett on Monday followed by 2.45 cr nett on Tuesday. This growth on Tuesday happened due to festivities in certain parts of country. But the problem was low Friday which has hurt the film badly. Film further added 1.95 cr nett on Wednesday taking 6 day total to 18 cr nett plus. Now film has to score for next 10 days for any chance of recovery at box office.
