BALAK PALAK Takes A Huge Opening In Maharashtra
"Balak Palak" released this Friday across Maharashtra. This is a marathi film produced by Riteish Deshmukh. Film got a huge release but the response to the film was even bigger.
Film grossed almost 0.65 -0.75 cr on Friday and today good word of mouth should take the film to 0.90 cr approx which means two day total of 1.60 - 1.70 cr. This means a good jump on Sunday can take the film to 2.75 - 3 cr nett and that will be a record figure in Marathi cinema for weekend.
Earlier record of 2.80 cr weekend held by 2009 Blockbuster reelase "Mi Shivajiraje Bhosle Boltoy" and that film earned almost close to 11 cr gross lifetime figure. "Balak Palak" can challenge this number if film trends well on weekdays.
Film will give boost to the regional cinema and congratulations to Riteish for making a mark as producer with such a brave and sensitive effort!
