EK VILLAIN Is Set For Humongous Opening
After ''Queen'' and ''Ragini MMS 2'', ''Gunday'' and ''2 States'' did fairly good business. Now Akshay Kumar ''Holiday'' has crossed 100 cr nett but still 2014 is searching for its 1st blockbuster. And many in trade putting their money on ''Ek Villain'' to do wonders at box office. After all chartbuster music and ''Aashiqui 2'' director with leading actress make deadly combo.
''Ek Villain'' has huge buzz due to super hit songs and mass centers will open big despite not so big star cast. Film might open big in metros but after initial film should sustain better in smaller towns considering film''s anti hero/villain content.
Film has huge advance booking in small places like Valsad and Surat (Gujarat), Kanpur and Lucknow (UP) and Mysore and Bangalore (Karnataka). Film is bound to register 40% opening in morning which will jump to 70% by evening.
As per trends, film should collect anywhere close to 11 cr nett on opening day and if word of mouth lives upto the hype then even sky is the limit.
