Akshay Kumar will be seen performing 'realistic action' in his next, 'Holiday — A Soldier Is Never Off Duty'. The makers roped in Greg Powell, who has directed action in Hollywood films like 'Skyfall', the 'Harry Potter' series and 'The Lord Of The Rings' trilogy, to achieve the desired result.

Producer Vipul Shah says it took a couple of months before Greg got on board. "The idea is to take action to a new, realistic level. I believe people have had enough of the larger-than-life kind of fight sequences seen so far. Also, our film is about an Army captain. When he's fighting terrorists, it has to be convincing and believable," he explains.

Greg started working on the action with his team in the UK before joining the Holiday crew in Mumbai where Akshay rehearsed with them for a month. When asked to share some highlights, Vipul quips that the audience won't see the bad men flying in the air.

Holiday — A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, produced by Hari Om Entertainment Company and Sunshine Pictures Pvt. Ltd., and presented by Reliance Entertainment releases June 6.
