Thursday, 28th April 2016, 3:40 PM IST After wrapping up the shooting of Konkana Sen Sharma's directorial debut, ‘A Death In The Gunj’, Gulshan Devaiah will once again be seen in debutant director Rohit Pathak's ‘Pichchar’ in which he will be seen as a aspiring filmmaker. Gulshan said, "I play Aakash, an aspiring filmmaker from Indore who comes to Mumbai with big dreams and immense potential but is disillusioned by the ways of the industry." The actor’s character in the film has an unusual connection with an eight-year-old boy who hails from a small town in UP. "Their lives get intertwined after a chance meeting," added Gulshan. The first schedule of the film has already been wrapped in UP. He said, "The main portions will be filmed in Mumbai for which we start shooting by May-end. As part of my prep, I am revisiting all my disappointments which I had faced in the beginning to establish a connect with the character." "I was once short-listed for an ad and was asked to meet the makers. But when I reached the venue, a few others were auditioning too. When it was my turn, the lady just looked at me and said that I didn't suit their profile. I wondered why they had called me in the first place but the same night, I was offered Anurag Kashyap's ‘That Girl in Yellow Boots’. It was quite a day," he added.
