Nagesh Kukunoor’s 'Dhanak' is based on a brother sister emotional Drama starring Hetal Gadda, Krrish Chhabria in lead roles accompanied by actors such as Vipin Sharma, Gulfam Khan, Vibha Chibber, Suresh Menon , Ninad Kamat & VijayMaurya. All set to showcase its colours in theaters on 10th June, 2016. Let’s find out if the album is as Vibrant as a rainbow for its listeners.
The album starts with ‘Jeene Se Bhi Jyada’ earthly composed by Tapas Relia and sung by the very talented Indian Idol Season 5 participant Shivamm Pathak in his wonderful classical yet zestful vocals to some enlightening lyrics. Turning it into a inspirational track with foot tapping beats giving you a feeling of wanting to break free. Ratings: 3/5
‘Chal Chalein’ sung in Papon’s magical voice, accompanied by Vibha Sharaf in superb synchronization and strumming of the guitar & drum beats. With Shivamm Pathak adding just the right feel to this captivating song. This composition is very engaging & gives you an instant feeling of happiness& accomplishment. Ratings: 3.5/5
The third song in the album is ‘Dum-A- Dum’ rapped by Chet Dixon & Devu Khan Manganiyar who is little just by stature but unbelievably talented. He sings not only in a folk voice but in English too. This one’s so beautifully re-created with the classic Dum-A-Dumit’s a musical treat to the ears. It’ll definitely light up the screen with the colours of a rainbow. Ratings: 3.5/5
The next song of the album is ‘Dhanak’ sung by Monali Thakkur in her sweet & serene voice to the cute lyrics penned by Shivamm Pathak. The composition is melodiously peaceful with the emphasis on the word Dhanak which is blissfully expressed by Monali. Ratings: 3.5/5
‘Mehendi’ sung by Swaroop Khan & Niyaz Khan in their powerful vocals is a folksong and transitions into a surprisingly modern track the composition is magical and takes you to a different world. The musical instruments are used so uniquely it’ll take you by surprise. Ratings: 3/5
Last but not the least the ‘The Theme Song’ which will make you feel happy with joy and will still make your eyes moist that’s the power it beholds. Ratings: 3.5/5
The album of ‘Dhanak’ proves to be very powerful,vibrant & magical. It’s meaningful, and melodious it’s perfect to listen to at home or on a road trip. It indeed has all the colours of a Rainbow !! Ratings: 3.5/5
