In a recent interview, Priyanka was asked what she would do if her husband falls in love with another woman like Bajirao did in the film, to which she replied, “I'd ask him to go away. Or I would walk out. Today, you can't hold on to someone just because of the society's diktat. Everyone is unhappy in such a situation.” “In the film, it's progressive of Kashibai to welcome the other woman in her life. It's a convoluted concept but a mature story. It was difficult to play Kashi because I wouldn't have dealt with the situation like that in real life. I don't identify with any of my screen characters,” she added.
