But, Aditya Chopra and Dibakar Banerjee are all set to make the sequel of ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’ which had proved to be a box-office disaster. Dibakar said, "Aditya Chopra is keen that we carry Byomkesh's story forward. Detective Byomkesh was always planned as a series of films based on the stories of Sharadindu Bandopadhyay." It is said that Sushant Singh Rajput was disappointed with the response the film had received. But, the actor has not lost his interest for the Dhoti-clad Kolkata detective investigative zeal.
