The movie stars Rahul Bhat, Richa Chadha and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead roles. A source said, “It’s now called ‘Das Dev’. According to the makers, Devdas always comes off as a sad character, especially a drunkard. That’s why the makers decided to give it a twist and decided to call it ‘Das Dev’. The film showcases Devdas against the politics of Uttar Pradesh as the backdrop.” It is said that the makers are all set to complete the film and are in plans to premiere it at the Berlin Film Festival.
