Saturday, 11th July 2015, 4:04 PM IST There were reports Salman Khan starrer ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ was viewed by two specially-selected Muslim members in the Censor Board. It was also said that film was examined for provocative remarks against the two main religions in India. However, Pahlaj Nihalani the chief of CBFC is disgusted with the news. He said, "No such thing happened. We do not pick members in the Censor Board on the basis of their religion. As far as viewing ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ for communal misrepresentation is concerned, there was absolutely no need to do so. The film does not sow communal discord. On the contrary, it is about peace, friendship and amity between communities and countries." "‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ sailed through the censoring process without a hitch. There was no argument over a single shot. Stories of discord are being concocted to make the product appear controversial. We at the Censor Board want to make it clear we had no problems with the film," he added.
