Saturday, 11th July 2015, 4:25 PM IST Music Composer: Pritam Lyricist: Mayur Puri, Kausar Munir, Amitabh Bhattacharya Salman Khan is back to take his Eidi on this Eid with Kabir Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. The movie also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Harshaali Malhotra and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. All Salman Khan’s films always have some great music, so let’s see what’s there in store for us when it comes to the music of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. The album starts with the track ‘Selfie Le Le Re’. It’s a perfect Salman Khan number with full-on masala in it. The song is dedicated to Bajrang Bali and the hook phrase ‘Chal Beta Selfie Le Le Re’ has mass appeal. The foot-tapping number successfully entertains us and not even for a single second does it bore us. Voices of Vishal Dadlani, Nakash Aziz and Pritam do justice to the song. Ratings: 4/5 Moving forward we hear the voice of Atif Aslam in the romantic number ‘Tu Chahiye’. It’s a nice romantic track, with high-on tempo beats. The beats in the track are classy and Atif’s voice gels well with the song. Amitabh Bhattacharya’s lyrics are heart-touching. Ratings: 3.5/5 Next comes in ‘Bhar Do Jholi’, a qawaali number. The track was originally composed by Sabri borthers and Pritam has recreated it for the film. It is surely one of the best tracks of the film. It takes us on a emotional as well as a religious journey. Above all is Adnan Sami’s wonderful voice which takes the track to a higher level. It’s nice to hear a perfect qawwali in a film’s album after a long time. Ratings: 4/5 After being religious, now it’s time to party with the song ‘Aaj Ki Party’. It’s a perfect celebration dance number and will be heard on every Eid party this year. The song has a Salman Khan touch in it with the beats being totally massy. And for this party number Mika Singh voice is just perfect. He has sung it superbly and we are sure that while listening to this track you will start dancing. Ratings: 4/5 And now, comes in ‘Chicken Kuk-Doo-Koo’. This one is the best track in album and will refresh your mood. If you love food, the lyrics of the track will impress you a lot. It’s a full-on entertaining number with food being the main element of it. Mohit Chauhan, Pritam and Palak Muchhal have sung the track amazingly. Would really like to compliment Mayur Puri for his creative and mind-blowing lyrics. Ratings: 5/5 After two foot-tapping numbers, here comes a soulful track titled ‘Zindagi’. It’s a beautiful number with soulful music and impressive lyrics. This is not the most soulful track of the year, but manages to make us emotional. Vocals of Jubin Nautiyal and Pritam are amazing in the track and takes it to a higher level. Ratings: 3.5/5 And the last song in the album is ‘Tu Jo Mila’, once again a soulful track. It’s a strictly okay number and offers nothing new except from heart-touching lyrics written by Kausar Munir. Javed Ali’s voice is nice in the track but doesn’t do any wonders. There is also a reprise version of the track sung by Papon which is better than the original one. Ratings: 3/5 On the whole, music album of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is a bunch of absolutely engaging tracks. Ratings: 4/5 Music Review By –
