Sunday, 20th Sept 2015, 12:13 PM IST Ajay Devgn expresses his disappointment for not being able to attend the Red Carpet event for his international production, ‘Parched’, which premiered worldwide at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on September 12. Talks are that Ajay’s production will get an extra screening on the 19th of September. The actor exclaimed, "I'm told this has not happened in the last 10 years." The intense actor said that he really believed in writer-director of ‘Parched’ Leena Yadav and gave her vision his full support. Ajay said, "The journey has just begun. We have been approached for screening by all the film festivals and have to pick and choose. The marketing team in Hollywood has taken over, it's their call now how they want to travel with the film and when they will open with it. I'd like a simultaneous release in India as soon as possible," ‘Parched’ is a rural film, which is a Indo-UK-US production, is an inspirational drama about 4 regular women of Gujarat. The film features actors Tannishtha Chatterjee, Surveen Chawla, Radhika Apte, Sayani Gupta and Adil Hussain. Ajay is upset about not being present at the TIFF and explains, "But I've been working night and day on the pre-production of my next production and second directorial, Shivaay. It's a gruelling shoot in difficult terrain. We'll be shooting action scenes the kind you haven't seen in Hindi cinema before, in snow, minus 15 degrees temperature. On Sunday, I leave for recce in Landor in Mussoorie where we roll in November."
