Wednesday, 21st Oct 2015, 5:30 PM IST After plenty of delays and disappointments, ‘Raabta’, directed by Homi Adajania, is finally back on track. There was a chance that the movie was going to be shelved, but that won’t be happening. The director duo Homi and Dinesh Vijan have been scouting for a female lead ever since Alia Bhatt walked out of the film. The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead role. Surprisingly enough, both ‘Raabta’ and ‘Shuddhi’ are based on the subject of reincarnation. A source says, “After Alia Bhatt abandoned the project to be part of Karan Johar’s ‘Shuddhi’, there were talks about the film being shelved. But the filmmakers are now looking for other actresses to take on the role of the lead actress. Homi and Sushant are also back to discussing the film.” Sushant Singh Rajput is also currently working on Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s biopic and will start work once the actress is finalized.
