''Bhoothnath Returns'' was released on 11th April 2014 , produced by B R Films and T Series. Film had Amitabh Bachchan and Boman Irani in lead role. Film was slated as biggest bet for B R Films to revive their sinking fortune.

Film had COP of 20 cr and P & A of 9 cr. With 29 cr of landing cost, film was a bit expensive proposition considering cast. Film went on to earn approx 37 cr nett at domestic box office and 3.25 cr from overseas market. Film had global share of 21.50 cr approx.

Film earned around 21 cr out of investment of 29 cr which was good sum for producers. Strictly box office wise film was average  but overall its a profitable one for makers. Film came as respite for Amitabh and B R Films. Film also attained good critical acclaim.
