Watch it for amazing performances and some real touching moments

Detailed Analysis:

Vijay Raaj is one of the under rated actors of ours time so when he decides to direct a film after so much of experience then its matter of great interest. Film is also blessed with Gulzar Saab who  went through trauma of partition.

Film has plot which is interesting but too much similar to 2001 Best Foreign Film Oscar winner 'No Man's Land'. India Pakistan border and in 1948 all the wounds of partition are still fresh. Two soldiers, Rehmat (Vijay Raaj) who is Pakistani but was born in Dlehi and Samarth (Manu Rishi) who is Indian but was born in Lahore, are stuck on border in rather interesting situation. Their bantering, fight, humor and anguish throw a complex yet emotional portrayal of situations of those times which witnessed such a mammoth tragedy. How this situation reaches to a conclusion in rather interesting manner forms the climax of the tale. 

Performance wise, Vijay Raaj as Rehmat is simply outstanding. His dialogue delivery, pitch and facial expressions lift the script to a certain notch. Manu Rishi as Samarth blows it off with some real emotive sequences. But it is the screenplay which conquers above all with immense control over human emotional drama. Gulzar adds new dimension to the film with amazingly written poetic prologue.

Editing was not sharp enough and cinematography is decent. But the realhero is director Vijay Raaj. He shows great command over medium and despite heavy inspiration from Oscar winning film and thin written material, he executes this with some real human touch. He should direct more often than doing some mindless comedy roles.

Film will release tomorrow and should get 200 plus screens. Film will get quite a stiff competition from last week's hit '2 States' and new releases of this week 'Purani Jeans' in addition to Hollywood juggernaut 'The Amazing Spiderman 2'. Film should open with modest numbers and will need good word of mouth to survive at box office which is the only hope for the film!
