''Daawat E Ishq'' and ''Khoobsurat'' released last weekend and like last week, both films have different set of audience. Last week releases are virtually out of competition and next week will see few small films so one out of these two releases had good chance to sustain if it manages some sort of appreciation but ''Daawat E Ishq'' failed to do that.

''Daawat E Ishq'' had below average day one. Film never took any kind of start and was horrible in Mumbai. CP, CI and Rajasthan were equally bad. Rajasthan had only 16 lakhs nett figure and Mumbai was lower than north. Film collected poor 3.72 cr nett on day one.

But then film was expected to grow on Saturday. Film struggled on day two and growth was very marginal. Film collected 4.35 cr nett on day two which was 15% growth. Again film grew but only marginally on Sunday. Film added 5.53 cr nett on Sunday.

Film has collected 13.60 cr nett in three days and weekend was below par. Film should have done close to 17-18 cr nett minimum over weekend. Film was hit by clash with ''Khoobsurat'' in metros.

Film collected 2.03 cr nett on Monday which was distinct drop from Friday of 45% as Friday was itself low. Film collected 1.84 cr nett  on Tuesday, 1.66 cr nett on Wednesday and 1.57 cr nett on Thursday. Film has total of 20.70 cr nett in 7 days and now film is heading for 27 cr nett week lifetime which will be poor. ''Daawat E Ishq'' collected $ 1.075 million or Rs 6 cr on its opening weekend and was behind ''Khoobsurat'' in overseas.
