1st Week Box Office Collection Of ACTION JACKSON

Monday, 15th December 00:55 AM IST ACTION JACKSON Had Below Average 2nd Weekend Last month proved to be a disappointment for films at box office. 'The Shaukeens', 'Happy Ending', 'Ungli' and 'Kill Dil' failed miserably at box office and now last month of the year started with huge film 'Action Jackson' which is directed by Prabhu Dheva with 100% box office record. But film performed badly in week one and writing was on the wall. Film released in approx 3400 screens and it was expected to take a huge start. But film was poor in big cities and despite good contribution from single screens, film managed very poor total of 48 cr nett in week one which should have been the 4 day total ideally for the film. Film was a wider release and that is why it was expected to score but after poor week one, film was expected to drop in 2nd week. And that is what happened as film dropped big on 2nd Friday. Film collected 1.70 cr nett on 2nd Friday which was almost 80% drop from 1st Friday. On expected lines, film grew by 18% on Saturday and collected 2.40 cr nett and on Sunday film added 3 cr nett. Film collected 54.45 cr nett in 10 days and thus all hopes gone for toss of big collection. Film is heading for 60 cr nett lifetime. Big disappointment! Film also collected poor numbers of 8.51 cr in overseas over week one. Below are the collections for the film -
