THE JUNGLE BOOK Crosses Huge 123 Cr In Two Weeks

Hollywood films have made mark in big way in last few years. ''Fast & Furious 7'' passed all landmarks and emerged as biggest ever Hollywood blockbuster in India. This year ''Deadpool'' surprised all and even ''Batman Vs Superman'' did big numbers. Now its turn of another biggie ''The Jungle Book'' which has emerged as biggest blockbuster. 

Film released this weekend and collected huge 10.09 cr nett on Friday despite competition from Bollywood films. Film was benefited by holiday in Maharashtra but then on Saturday film grew across the board. Film collected 13.51 cr nett with 30% growth. Film witnessed huge jump of 30% again on Sunday and collected 16.59 cr nett. 

After 40.19 cr nett weekend, film scored outstanding 7.60 cr nett on Monday which is just 25% drop from Friday. Film collected equally impressive 7.07 cr nett on Tuesday, 7.97 cr nett on Wednesday with holiday push and 10.97 cr nett on Thursday with national holiday push. Film is solid across the board especially among masses. 

Film collected 74.08 cr nett in 1st week which is new record for Hollywood film in India. Film collected huge 2nd Friday with 8.02 cr nett which is as good as 1st Friday. On 2nd Saturday, the movie added another 8.51 cr to its kitty followed by impressive 10.62 cr nett on 2nd Sunday with 25% jump. Film collected 27.15 cr nett in 2nd weekend which is fantastic.

Film collected super 5.09 cr nett on 2nd Monday which is only 40% drop from 2nd Friday. Film grew on 2nd Tuesday due to holiday and collected 6.37 cr nett. Film added 5.02 cr nett on Wednesday and 4.63 cr nett on Thursday. Film collected huge 49.30 cr nett in 2nd week which is similar or higher to big Bollywood blockbusters.

Film has two week total of 123.35 cr nett and film is heading for 150 cr nett lifetime as it will have good 3rd weke in absence of any big release. Today it should also become highest grosser of 2016 beating ''Airlift''. Now after highest ever weekend and 1st week for Hollywood film in India, it has become highest grosser ever Hollywood film. All time Blockbuster!
