Saturday, 23rd April 2016, 11:15 AM IST KI & KA Crosses 100 Cr Gross In Three Weeks Opening of multiplex films have predictable trend and like ''Kapoor & Sons'' now ''Ki & Ka'' also took slow start despite good reviews and decent pre release buzz but then it witnessed upward trends from Friday evening followed by jump on Saturday. Film is released in 1650 screens in India and 500 screens in overseas. Film took 20% opening and it had shown signs of improvement in afternoon show. Film found acceptance among metro audience. Film collected 7.30 cr nett on day one followed by 8.41 cr nett on Saturday which was jump of 20%. Despite the cricket match final on Sunday, the film’s collection showed a further rise with 9.52 cr. On Monday, film collected 3.54 cr and on Tuesday the collection was 3.30 cr. Film on Wednesday collected 2.82 cr. The movie continued its steady run on Thursday too, earning a good 2.68 cr. On its second Friday the film has collected 2.23 cr followed by 2.80 cr nett on 2nd Saturday and solid 3.21 cr nett on 2nd Sunday. Film added 8.25 cr nett in 2nd weekend. Film collected solid 1.01 cr nett on 2nd Monday followed by 98 lakhs nett on 2nd Tuesday, 1.06 cr nett on Wednesday and 1.25 cr nett on Thursday. Film crossed 12.40 cr nett in 2nd week. Film added 1.51 cr nett in 3rd week. Film has crossed 100 cr gross worldwide. The film has two week total of 51.62 cr nett and it will cross 53 cr nett by end of run. Film did very well in overseas too with 2.8 million $ total (18.63 cr) in 1st week, 3.4 million $ (22.61 cr) in 10 days and 4.1 million $ (27.30 cr) in three weeks.
