HAPPY BHAG JAYEGI Is Heading For 29 Cr Lifetime  

After big clash at box office last week, last week witnessed one major Bollywood release along with couple of interesting Hollywood releases. 


'Happy Bhag Jayegi' was never expected to start well due to its flop music and repetitive promo.Film had no face value so writing was on the wall. As expected, film took a poor start of around 10% but film improved later in the say especially in Delhi and Punjab. It postedquitedecenttotla of 2.32 cr nett on day one. 


Film managed big jump of 65% on Saturday and collected 3.81 cr nett. Film had good Sunday and collected 4.58 cr nett. Film was hurt by low starting day one figure. Film needs to be solid on weekdays in order to reach some kind of respectable total. After 11 cr nett weekend film needed string weekdays but film dropped with 1.62 nett on Monday followed by 1.63 cr nett on Tuesday. Film collected even higher number of 1.82 cr nett on Wednesday and 1.87 cr nett on Thursday due to holiday. 

Film collected 17.65 cr nett in 1st week which was below par. Film added 90 lakhs nett on 2nd Friday. Film continued to grow over weekend with 1.55 cr nett on Saturday and 2.01 cr nett on Sunday. Film added 4.46 cr nett in 2nd weekend and should cross 7 cr nett in 2nd week. Film collected 62 lakhs nett each on 2nd Monday and Tuesday, 60 lakhs nett on Wednesday and 57 lakhs nett on Thursday.   


Film has 2-week total of 24.52 cr nett and it is heading for 28-30 cr nett lifetime total. If film can add something substantial in 3rd week then it can achieve respectable total of 30 cr nett which will be a fair result. Film was hit by very poor start otherwise with such trends it could had past 35-40 cr nett.
