DISHOOM Finishes With 69 -70 Cr Nett Lifetime 

Varun Dhawan and John Abraham starrer ''Dishoom'' released in 3000 screens in India which was fairly wide release. Film was solo release and has two open weeks to perform. 

Film opened to below par numbers of 30% and during the day it failed to grow big. Film was average everywhere with rather better numbers in Rajasthan, Gujarat and UP. Film collected strictly average 11.05 cr net ton day one. Film grew marginally on day two with 12.02 cr nett total as film struggled in urban centers. 



Film had decent growth on Sunday with collection of 14.25 cr nett. Film needed a strong hold on Monday but it had drop of 55% or more inmost of regions. Film collected 4.85 cr nett which was below par. Film added 4.30 cr nett on Tuesday, 3.67 cr nett on Wednesday and 3.20 cr nett on Thursday. Film collected 53.34 cr nett in 1st week which was just decent. 



It needed good performance in 2nd week considering big clash next Friday and it has started well on 2nd Friday with 2.30 cr nett number. Film jumped on 3rd Saturday and collected 3.40 cr nett which was good 40% jump. Film again jumped on 2nd Sunday and collected 4.35 cr nett with 10 cr nett total in 2nd weekend. Film added 1.30 cr nett on 2nd Monday, 1.21 cr nett on Tuesday, 1.08 cr nett on Wednesday and 99 lakhs nett on Thursday. It collected 14.63 cr nett in 2nd week.

Film has total of 67.97 cr nett in two weeks which is just above average considering release size and cast. As of now it seems to heading for above average lifetime business of 69-70 cr nett, similar to what we predicted. As expected, film was solid in UAE-GCC with 3.50 cr figure in first two days and 14 cr over weekend in overseas. Film added 3 million $ (20.06 cr) in overseas after 1st week.
