1st Week Box Office Collection Of AKIRA

Thursday, 8th September 01:00 PM IST AKIRA Had Below Par 1st Week Heroine oriented films started doing well for last three years or so and now its turn of Sonakshi Sinha to test her solo potential at box office. A R Murgodass has also done well at box office with his couple of remakes and that gave 'Akira' some hope. 'Akira' started slow in the morning shows and looked bleak. Film grew afterwards especially in central markets though growth wasnot tremndous. Film managed to get wide release that is why despite not that start it collected 5.15 cr nett on day one. Film failed to grow big on day two and collected 5.30 cr nett. Film again had slim growth on Sunday and collected 6.20 cr nett. Film managed to hold well on Monday with 3.40 cr nett as Mumbai was helped by holiday. Film dropped on Tuesday with 2.40 cr nett fol lower by 2.07 cr nett on Wednesday and 1.78 cr nett on Thursday. Film has 1st week total of 26.30 cr nett and it should finish with 30 cr nett lifetime which is below par. Film collected 5.76 cr (0.8 million $) in overseas market over the weekend.
