But even 2015 remained flat in terms of business and 2016 is also on similar levels as last year. Big films have underperformed and now flow of big releases start with 'Housefull 3'. 'Fan' topped the chart with 52.35 cr nett weekend though it was good but not great as per star power of Shahrukh Khan. Now 'Housefull 3' has taken over with 53.31 cr nett weekend which was superb. 'Airlift' had 44.30 cr nett opening weeeknd which was really good considering the class appeal. 'Baaghi' has cemented Tiger as bankable actor with 38.58 cr nett opening weekend. 'Udta Punjab' scored 33.80 cr nett over weekend which was good number considering such dark subject and it was 5th best in 2016. 'Sultan' came and conquered all films in 2016 with some margin. Film collected 105.52 cr nett in 1st weekend. Varun Dhawan starrer 'Dishoom' collected 36.57 cr nett over weekend which was 6th best of the year.
