RANGOON Witnesses Mammoth Fall In 2nd Week 

As we mentioned in our preview and prediction that this film will have toughtime at box office as Vishal Bharadwaj has really poor record at box office.Andthat is what happened as ''''Rangoon'''' tanked at box office on day oneitself. 

Film started poorly with 15% occupancy and it never improved drastically fromthere on. Film had some push due to Mahashivratri in north. But overall fromMumbai to all major territories were poor. Film collected disappointing5.05nett on day one. Film collected 4.75 cr nett on 2nd day and 4.70 cr nett onSunday. 

Film has 1st weekend total of 14.50 cr nett. If that was enough, film droppedby80% on Monday and collected 1.30 cr nett. Film added 1.10 cr nett on Tuesdayand 1 cr each in Wednesday and Thursday. Film has 1st week total of 18.90 crnett. Film added poor 1.75 cr nett in 2nd week which was expected after initialtrend. 

Now with this trend film cannot collect more than 22 cr nett lifetime totalwhich is too low for 80 cr film. Film collected poor 1.17 million $ (7 cr)inoverseas over weekend. This one looks like big setback to Viacom 18 anditjoins elite list of disasters like ''Bombay Velvet'' and ''Mohenjodaro''.
