SINGH SAAB THE GREAT Remains Below Average On Day One
''Singh Saab The Great'' released yesterday with limited expectations and surprisingly film managed to beat more celebrated opponent GTPM at box office but still overall remained below average at box office.
''Singh Saab The Great'' started well in morning shows especially in UP, NCR and few other urban centers. Film has opened to 30% occupancy all India where multiplexes are leading and single screens opened to poor numbers as low as 15%. Film was expected to touch 6 cr nett but limited growth in south and ''Ram - Leela'' affect in west dented the film.
Film managed only 5.10-5.25 cr nett on day one which is below average and from here on film needs big growth on Saturday and Sunday in order to come out winner. To be fair, this big growth looks difficult and even 18 cr nett weekend will be the weekend number unless film surprises.
