''Mary Kom'' released two weeks back and it had got huge release in 2900-3000 screens which was huge for a film which has lady as protagonist. Film had huge pre release buzz and reviews were fairly positive.

Film opened to good to average numbers. Film was solid in north and Mumbai though film was on lower side in central and south India. Film collected close to 29 cr nett over weekend and that was really good number considering the genre.

But film dropped big on Monday and though it managed steady numbers on weekdays but weekend advantage was done and dusted. Film collected good 43.40 cr nett in week one which was not great considering super weekend total.

Film lost majority of screens to new releases yesterday and that is why big drop on 2nd Friday was kind of expected. Film collected only 2.10 cr nett on day 8 which was drop of 78%. Film collected only in metros on 2nd Friday as smaller centers did not perform much.

Film added 2.80 cr nett on 2nd Saturday which was jump of 30% over day before. Film added 3.40 cr nett on Sunday. Film had average 2nd weekend of 5.70 cr nett but close to 8-10 cr nett would had been an ideal figure. Film dropped by 40% on 2nd Monday and collected 1.15 cr nett followed by 1.10 cr nett on Tuesday, 1.10 cr nett on Wednesday.

Film has collected 55.05 cr nett in 13 days and despite poor shows in mass centers film prevailed due to stable biz in metros. Film might touch 60 cr nett and good 3rd week can take it to close to 62 cr nett. Film was sold to S TV around 23 cr and they will make money.

Film collected good 1.4 million $ (8.40 cr) in week one in overseas market and film will collect good 12-13 cr lifetime which will be a good total.
