RACE 2 Scores On Day One
"Race 2" started with good occupancy in the morning and film improved during the course of the day. Film received mixed to negative reviews from most of the critics but film is still zooming ahead at box office at least on Day one.
Film registered best occupancy in NCR, East Punjab and UP. East was the worst and central India was average. In metros, film picked up in a big way after evening and willcome up with big numbers on Day one.
Film should easily beat best Saif Ali's opening day figure of 10.120 cr of "Cocktail" and should equal or surpass John's best opening day of 13.50 cr nett of "Housefull 2". As per early estimates, film should collect 13.50 cr nett and occupancy of late evening shows will determine the final figure.
Tomorrow will be interesting as film will get national holiday boost on one hand but on contrary negative reviews will also play a role.
