JAI HO Failed To Register Huge SundaySalman Khan starrer ''Jai Ho'' released in middle of humongous expectations but even if one takes into account the non holiday factor or ticket prices, film is not even matching up to Ranveer Depeika starrer film ''Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram Leela''. Film failed to even jump big on Sunday.
Film was good on day one overall but never improved in urban centers and multiplexes which hurt the film badly. Film had almost similar story on day two and shockingly enough film dropped in single screens too in places like Kanpur, Indore, Jaipur and Pune.
Film was expected to score big on Sunday as it was holiday after two rather not so big day at box office. But shockingly film was good and jumped but that craze of ''Ek Tha Tiger'' and ''Dabangg'' was missing altogether. Film was just good not outstanding and that means 21-22 cr nett looks possible for the film.
Film should collect 55-57 cr nett over weekend which is just 4-5 cr nett more than what Ranveer - Deepika starrer collected with similar ticket price and 1800 less screens. Now Monday is the last hope for the film as few section of fans and distributors baking on solid Monday. But after such average Sunday, this looks over optimistic.
Film needs at least double digit Monday if not close to Friday number to gain any kind of respectability. Poor show!
