JAI HO Is Heading For Disappointing Weekend

Salman Khan starrer ''Jai Ho'' released in middle of humongous expectations but even if one takes into account the non holiday factor or ticket prices, film is not even matching up to Ranveer Depeika starrer film ''Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram Leela''.

Film was good on day one overall but never improved in urban centers and multiplexes which hurt the film badly. Film had almost similar story on day two and shockingly enough film dropped in single screens too in places like Kanpur, Indore, Jaipur and Pune.

Film managed good numbers from CI, CP and Rajasthan which was on expected lines but these numbers were also below average considering last few big films. Film managed poor 16.25 cr nett only on day two taking total numbers to 33.80 cr nett.


But after such a below average first two days , film needs 50% jump which can take film closer to 65 cr nett over weekend at least. Because 60 cr nett weekend means that film will struggle to cross 100-110 cr nett from here which will be insulting to star power of such a big star.


At least 35 cr nett Sunday can take it to some kind of respectability and that is difficult. At the moment 60 cr nett weekend looks realistic and that is not what makers would had hoped for.
