Bollywood films might be touching new horizon riding on high ticket prices, more screens and solo release but Marathi cinema simply needs content to over perform at box office. Marathi film ''Timepass'' has become highest grosser ever at Marathi box office.
Film collected 14 cr nett in week one and registered only 10% drop in week two. Film managed 12 cr nett in week two which is outstanding. Film started well over 3rd weekend too. Film collected 90 lakhs on 3rd Friday and 1.10 cr nett on 3rd Saturday taking 16 days collection to 27 cr nett.
Film has crossed 25 cr lifetime record total of ''''Duniyadaari'''' . Film should finish with lifetime total of 32-35 cr, a new benchmark in Marathi industry.
