Producer Bejoy Nambiar’s horror film ‘Pizza’ has been the talk of the town ever since it was announced. Now we hear that the makers have ‘borrowed’ a scene from Hollywood horror flick ‘The Exorcist’ and used it ‘Pizza’.

 

In the original film, we saw Linda R Hager spider-walking down a stair case scaring the viewers. And the makers of ‘Pizza’ have used the same scene and portrayed in on a dusty floor.

 

On being asked about the similarity between the scenes director Akshay Akkineni said, “It may look similar, but we've used it in a different context. I know what you are talking about, but no, it wasn't. I've seen 'The Exorcist' and I remember the scene in question. But in my film it features a child. While shooting we learnt that she is a good gymnast, so we decided to showcase her skill, giving it a horror spin. When you see the film, you will understand what I mean.”
