Tuesday, 8th July 2014, 05:19 PM IST Readers may remember reports about photographers being miffed with actress Shraddha Kapoor for keeping them waiting and not smiling for the lenses. Following which, the paparazzi threatened to ban the actress altogether.
However, now the actress has amicably resolved the matter in a meeting that took place last Friday at Juhu. At the meeting, Shraddha said, “I was told to be ready by 1 pm and I was, 15 minutes before time. But the shoot was delayed due to some production hassles. I was waiting in my vanity van, impatiently, unaware that the lensmen were also waiting for hours, for me. Often, we actors have no idea when the media is called and this causes miscommunication.”
She even apologized saying she would never intentionally upset the photographers, some of whom she knew since her ‘Teen Patti’ days. “I was so happy to see them clicking me again at a filmmaker's party,” she says. Shraddha further said, “When you become a public figure you have to be ready for the fact that people will take an inordinate interest in your personal life. But at the same time I think that certain lines should not be crossed. The personal space of actors should be respected too.” Fair enough! |
