Wednesday, 9th July 2014, 06:30 PM IST Actor Salman Khan has been issued a notice by the Supreme Court regarding the 1998 black buck poaching case. This notice was done following Rajasthan government's petition which challenged a High Court order that suspended the actor's conviction in the case. The actor is accused of hunting and killing two Chinkara deer and a black buck while shooting his film ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ in Rajasthan in 1998. Salman has already spent time in Jodhpur jail in connection to the case. Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam, Salman’s co-stars in the film, are charged with inciting the actor to hunt. Last year, fresh charges were framed against Salman after the Rajasthan High Court and the Supreme Court both ruled that the Arms Act could not be applied to him and sent the case back to the lower court. The Rajasthan High Court ordered to suspend Salman Khan's poaching conviction so that it would be easier for the actor to travel abroad for a film.
