Saturday, 4th Oct 2014, 5:01 PM IST Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao became stars overnight after the release of their film ‘Ishq Vishk’. And now, Ken Ghosh, who had directed‘IV’, is planning the sequel of the film, but it won’t star Shahid and Amrita in the film. It is learnt that the sequel will star newcomers and will be produced by Kumar and Ramesh Taurani. A source said, "Ken was keen on the sequel but wasn't getting the right story. He finally found one and now it's nearing completion.Despite having directed films like ‘Fida’ and ‘Chance Pe Dance’, he is best remembered for ‘Ishq Vishk’, which was a box-office hit." Ramesh, the producer of the film said, "The script is almost finalised and we should have a cast in place within the next month or so. It's a great brand which we always were keen to take forward. Like the first instalment, the sequel will also be an urban rom-com set in a college campus." Ken added, "I am fine-tuning the script. I will have more clarity on it in the coming days as by then, the actors will also be in place." |
