Saturday, 3rd Jan 2015, 4:58 PM IST The makers of South Indian film ‘Kick’ have already started with the sequel of the film, titled as ‘Kick 2’. While many Bollywood filmmakers have already approached the makers of ‘Kick 2’ for the remake rights, Sajid Nadiadwala claims that the sequel of his Salman Khan starrer ‘Kick’, titled ‘Devil’, will be different from ‘Kick 2’. A source said, “The first ‘Kick’ remake was a completely revamped version of the original. This time, the director Surender Reddy and the leading man of both the ‘Kick’ films want to be on board for the remake. They were not happy with what was done to the first ‘Kick’ film.” Ravi Teja, who is the lead actor in both the films said, “Even while we’re shooting the second film my producer and director are already negotiating for the Hindi remake. However, this time there will be certain pre-conditions before the remake rights are sold. I saw the Hindi remake of ‘Kick’. They had changed the script completely. Salman Khan is a completely different actor from me.” Talking about ‘Kick 2’, he said, “It’s a very different film from ‘Kick’, though I still play the same character. The action and stunts are far more evolved. No point in doing a sequel unless you go further than the original.” When Sajid Nadiadwala, the maker of Hindi ‘Kick’ was asked if he has also approached for the remake rights, he said, “We haven’t approached them for the ‘Kick 2’ rights. There is no question of making it without Salman. Our sequel to ‘Kick’ is to be called ‘Devil’.” Now you can enjoy ad-free experience by downloading India’s first Box Office mobile app from here –Android:http://bit.ly/BOCapsuleMobileApp and iOS:bit.ly/BOCapsuleiOSApp |
