Monday, 12th Jan 2015, 2:37 PM IST 'MSG: The Messenger of God' starring Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan is slated to release on 16th Jan. But, Central Board Of Film Certification has refused to clear the film. The members of CBFC examining committee have taken objection to the protagonist depicting himself as god. They have stated that he has not criticised any religion in the film, but sources say that he is shown doing miracles and curing terminal diseases. A committee member said, "The godman has showed himself as god and the film looks more of an advertisement. Besides, some scenes show miracles taking place which are not substantiated by logic." The spokesperson for the film, Aditya Insan said, "In the promo, he clearly mentions that he is a normal human being. He is the hero of the film and does what other heroes do — fight evils of the society. We are now awaiting the revising panel's decision."
