Friday, 2nd Jan 2015, 3:48 PM IST Salman Khan, who is continuously shooting for the film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ in a studio at Karjat, recently painted an entire village near by the studio.
Along with the cast and crew of the film, Salman headed to village Hatluni to paint the houses and distribute sarees to village women. Salman and the cast and crew of the film were also accompanied by a few professional painters.
Talking about it, Kabir Khan said, "There were about 30 of us, and led by Salman, we painted the entire village in one five-hour stretch. The results are fantastic."
89-year-old Lakshmi Devi, one of the residents of the village said, "The security guards surrounding Salman Baba were not letting me meet him. But then he saw me standing there with my pooja thali and told his guards to move aside. He responded by putting an arm around me and saying, `Changli diste, bai'."
A child from the village named Kishore said, “We played football with him till midnight. I've sat in his lap, held his hand and dragged him to play with me. He never says no to me."
