Actors like Aamir Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Tabu, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, etc very well showcased their super impressive acting prowess. And now, even in 2015, we can expect some fantastic performances from our Bollywood actors.
1. Shahrukh Khan (‘Fan’): Shahrukh Khan to play a double role in ‘Fan’; this one statement is enough to help the film to break records at the box-office. With good collection we can also expect a great performance from SRK. One of his characters will be of a superstar and other will be of a lookalike fan.
2. Ranbir Kapoor (‘Bombay Velvet’, ‘Tamasha’): It has been more than a year since we last saw Ranbir Kapoor playing a lead role on screen. But, in 2015, the actor has around four releases- ‘Roy’, ‘Jagga Jasoos’, ‘Bombay Velvet’ and ‘Tamasha’. But, we think he will manage to grab our attention with his performances in films like ‘BombayVelvet’ and ‘Tamasha’.
3. Varun Dhawan (‘Badlapur’): Varun Dhawan is all set to reinvent himself with an intense role in the film ‘Badlapur’. The teaser of the film is out and Varun’s act looks simply outstanding. Miles away from his sweet chocolate boy looks; the actor will be seen in a totally new avatar in the film.
4. Akshay Kumar (‘Baby’, ‘Gabbar’): In 2014, Akshay impressed us with his act in films like ‘Holiday’ and ‘Entertainment’. And now, in 2015, the superstar has four releases- ‘Baby’, ‘Singh Is Bling’, ‘Brothers’ and ‘Gabbar’. However, it looks like Akki’s fans are more interested in watching his performance in ‘Baby’ and ‘Gabbar’.
5. Emraan Hashmi (‘Tigers’, ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’): Emraan Hashmi is on his way for an image makeover. The actor has turned his way towards more meaningful cinema. And in 2015, we will get to see Emraan in three totally unconventional roles. But, it looks like he will make a mark with films like ‘Tigers’ and ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’.
6. Priyanka Chopra (‘Bajirao Mastaani’): Priyanka Chopra’s act in ‘Mary Kom’ was undoubtedly praise worthy and awards worthy. Despite a lull in 2013, the actress proved that she still has the power to rule the box-office. And in 2015, the power will surely be doubled with three releases like ‘Bajirao Mastaani’, ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ and ‘Madamji’. From all the three films, Priyanka’s act in ‘BM’ is something everyone is looking forward to as she will be playing a historical character.
7. Deepika Padukone (‘Piku’): 2014 was not a great year for Deepika. She was more in news about her cleavage controversy than her films. But, in 2015, once again the actress is all set to rule with three author backed role in films like ‘Piku’, ‘Tamasha’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’. However, from all the three films it’s ‘Piku’ for which her fans are eagerly waiting. 8. Dhanush (‘Shamitabh’): Dhanush impressed everyone with his act in his debut film ‘Raanjhanaa’. And now, he is all set for his second Bollywood film. Reportedly, he will be seen playing the role of a deaf and mute actor.
9. Amitabh Bachchan (‘Piku’, ‘Shamitabh’, ‘Wazir’): Amitabh Bachchan proved that post the age of 70 also he can give a hit. In the year, 2015 the megastar has three films and in each and every film he has different looks and roles. We salute Big B for his spirit at this age as well.
10. Rekha (‘Fitoor’): ‘Super Nani’ was not at all a good comeback vehicle for a talented actress like Rekha. But, in 2015, we can expect a great performance from her in the film ‘Fitoor’. Though the lead actors of the film are Aditya Roy Kapur and Katrina Kaif, we are sure Rekha will be the show stealer.
11. Sushant Singh Rajput (‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’): Sushant Singh Rajput will be seen in and as ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’. Surely, this role will be a lifetime opportunity for the actor, as not many actors get a chance to star in a biopic so soon in their careers.
12. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (‘Jazbaa’): And finally, after five years the wait will soon be over. We will get to see Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on screen in the film ‘Jazbaa’. The actress will be seen playing the role of a lawyer and we are sure that she is all set to surprise us with her act.
13. Sonam Kapoor (‘Dolly Ki Doli’): Sonam Kapoor has proved that she is one of the contemporary actresses who can carry women-centric films on their shoulders. After the success of ‘Khoobsurat’, Sonam is all set to be back on screen with the woman-centric movie titled ‘Dolly Ki Doli’. The trailer and the songs of the film are out, and Sonam is surely in a mood to conquer our hearts.
14. Farhan Akhtar (‘Wazir’): Farhan Akhtar is all set to play a cop in upcoming film ‘Wazir’. The actor has trained hard for the film and will be seen in a pumped up avatar. The teaser of the film is out and Farhan is too good in it.
15. Salman Khan (‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’): Salman Khan’s act in ‘Jai Ho’ and ‘Kick’ was amazing and now in 2015 also the superstar has two releases - ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. Salman Khan’s one of the best performances of his career is said to be in Kabir Khan’s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and now, once again Kabir is directing him in the film ‘BB’.
