This year not a single mainstream masala Bollywood film worked and to make situation worse Hollywood biggies ''Fast & Furious 7'' and ''Avengers Age Of Ultron'' over-performed. And if that was not enough, now regional cinema has started making waves at box office in big way. ''Timepass 2'' has opened with wide release in Maharastra and this kind of release coupled with holiday on Friday means that film will score big. And that is what film did with almost 90% occupancy throughout the day and even metros were solid. Film dented other new releases in big way. Film collected 3.75 cr nett on day one and it broke records of big Bollywood releases in smaller centers and cinemas. Film had super Saturday and collected 3 cr nett. Film has now highest opening day and will have highest opening weekend too. Film was strong on Sunday and it collected 4.25 cr nett. Film had huge 11 cr nett weekend. Film remained solid on weekdays and collected 2.39 cr nett on Monday with nominal drop of 35% from Friday. Film added 1.70 cr nett on Tuesday, 1.40 cr nett on Wednesday and 1.10 cr nett on Thursday. Film collected 17.60 cr nett in week one which is superb. Film continued to march in 2nd week. Film collected 1.40 cr nett on 2nd Friday, 1.90 cr nett on 2nd Saturday and 2.70 cr nett on 2nd Sunday. Film has total of 23.60 cr nett plus in 10 days. Now even average performance from here will take it close to 28-30 cr nett lifetime.
