Shawn Arranha’s ‘Teraa Surroor’ a multi starrer starring Himesh Reshammiya, Naseeruddin Shah, Shekhar Kapur , Kabir Bedi and introducing the beauteous Farah Karimaee is scheduled to hit cinema’s on 11th Mar, 2016. The film is considered to be a romantic – thriller shot in Dublin. The music of 'Teraa Surroor' has been composed by Himesh Reshammiya who is a magician at creating chart breaking albums with melody and emotions woven together. Let’s listen and find out if we have another blockbuster in store.
The album starts gracefully with the playing of the piano joined by a violin and culminates into a melodious sentimental track ‘Teri Yaad’ in Himesh’s intoxicating voice to the soulful and meaningful lyrics of Sameer Anjaan. The song is a typical Himesh Reshammiya one with the very popular and trademark crooning to the orchestra that he is best known for and reminds you of some of his past hit songs. Ratings: 4/5
‘Ishq Samundar’ the next song of the album is a remake of the popular 2002 hit song from the film “Kaante” this time around it has been crooned amazingly by Himesh Reshammiya and Kanika Kapoor. It’san energetic dance track remixed in a very stylish manner.HR gives us one more dance track to groove to…not to miss the……Take it off!!! Baby take it off!!!!!!! Leaving it a little naughty!!!! Ratings: 4/5
The album moves further with the song ‘Adhuri Zindagi’ sung by the very deserving India’s Raw Star winner Rituraj Mohanty in his husky and raw voice to the thoughtful lyrics of Sameer Anjaan mentioning “Adhuri Zindagi Hai Tu Karde Mukammal” a beautiful thought and what better way than music to express the same. This one’s a soft rock number full of emotions and sentiments. Ratings: 4/5
My personal favorite ‘Wafa Ne Bewafai’ sung by Arijit Singh in his enchanting voice adding yet another romantic number to his endless collection accompanied by the super talented and beautiful Neeti Mohan in her beautifully well toned voice giving you the up’s and downs of life by the simple modulation in her voice along with Suzanne D’Mello who croons the English vocals gracefully. The thoughts that are penned down by Sameer Anjaan have the capability to make the broken hearted shatter into tears. Himesh’s best composition of the album a song that can be heard on continuous loop. Ratings: 4.5/5
The album has been a complete treat so far which takes us to the next song ‘Bekhudi’ in Darshan Raval’s captivating style of singing the boy who won the 1st Runner-up award in India’s Raw Star competition and Aditi Singh Sharma sounding nicely seductive and enticing. The stress on the word ‘Bekhudi’ will remind you of Himesh’s style of singing. Ratings: 3.5/5
‘Main Woh Chand’ the last track in this album makes it Darshan Raval’s second song in this one and is sung with immense feelings leaving you amazed with the promising talent that is within him, not forgetting the lyrics & composition without which it wouldn’t be the same. A perfect song dedication to the love of your life. Ratings: 4.5/5
Overall, the music album of ‘Teraa Surroor’ is the best of the year so far. Versatile singing, heart touching lyrics and engrossing compositions along with some great opportunities provided by Himesh Reshammiya to the upcoming talent that our country has in abundance.
