SPECTRE Had Average Week One Of 33 Cr
Bond films always release with huge amount of curiosity worldwide and this time 'Spectre' has done some serious mind blowing numbers worldwide before its release in India. Film finally released in India on 20th November with paid previews on 19th.
'Spectre' was never expected to do too well as highest Bond film at box office was 'Skyfall' with 46 cr nett lifetime. But surprisingly film did fairly well with 2.10 cr nett on Thursday in paid previews from 6:30 PM onwards. This was good number considering PRDP is still playing in 3000 screens.
Film got rather mixed word of mouth still it managed very good 6.14 cr nett on Friday. Film was very good in metros and premium multiplexes. Even interiors had decent figures. Film grew well by 28% on Saturday and collected 7.28 cr nett. Film had good Sunday with 7.82 cr nett. Film had decent Monday with 2.30 cr nett which was less than 45% drop from Friday followed by 2.40 cr nett on Tuesday, 3.10 cr nett on Wednesday and 2 cr nett on Thursday.
Film has total of 33 cr nett in one week and now it has no chances of crossing 50 cr nett lifetime though 40 cr is kind of assured from here.
