Abhay Deol And His Ex Preeti Desai To Be Seen Together In ROCK THE SHAADI

Thursday, 26th Feb 2015, 5:58 PM IST Abhay Deol and Preeti Desai have parted ways. But, on the professional front, both the actors are now all set to work together for the film 'Rock The Shaadi'. The movie had started rolling in 2012, but had halted to due to some financial crisis. However now, apparently the film is being revived. An insider said, "The film ran into a financial mess and it was difficult for Balaji (Balaji Motion pictures) to take over and recover the investment. Director Navdeep Singh also got into a fight with VFX specialist Niraj Shanghai, which was the last nail in the coffin. Forty per cent of the shoot had been completed then." The source further stated that now EKta Kapoor will be the sole producer of the film. The source said, "Abhay and Preeti were together when 'Rock The Shaadi' took off. Though they parted ways recently, they were professional enough to agree to shoot together." Well, Preeti has a small role in the film and the lead actress is Genelia D'Souza Deshmukh.
