The film which will release on Jan 8th 2016 also stars Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role with Farhan and actress Aditi Rao Hydari. In a promotional event for ‘Wazir’ Farhan said, “I had a wonderful time doing action. I have directed action in films like 'Lakshya' and 'Don' series. It is a different experience when you are directing it and doing action as an actor.” Talking about the action style in the film, Farhan said, “Different films have different kind of action. This is pitched in hard, gritty and real way and Bejoy Nambiar (director) is good at it.
