Thursday, 13th Aug 2015, 4:12 PM IST Kangana Ranaut is undergoing training in horse riding and sword fighting for Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Rangoon’ and the actress says that the training will also help her in Rani Lakshmibai biopic. Kangana is learning horse riding, sword fighting and ballet with an instructor from Argentina, Fernando. She said, "It's helping me to prepare for Rani Lakshmibai too.” In ‘Rangoon’ she plays a movie star from the 1940s who entertains British troops. The actress also visited New York to research on the era. "I just see performers in live shows and learn their body language. At the time, Indian culture, its people and cinema, was heavily influenced by the West. I've bought some reference material," she said. Talking about the biopic which will be helmed by Ketan Mehta, Kangana said, "It's a beautiful story, one I haven't been able to disassociate from since I heard it. I'm looking forward to playing a mother and a warrior on screen. It's such a fabulous role that as an actor I don't know what I'll do next. May be I should get into direction.” Now you can enjoy ad-free experience by downloading India’s first Box Office mobile app from here –Android: http://bit.ly/BOCapsuleMobileApp and iOS: bit.ly/BOCapsuleiOSApp |
